The Los Angeles County Management Council is pleased to announce the first-ever virtual networking event called “Close Up”. To foster connection during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are launching this opportunity for LACMC members to have a dialogue with our leaders on current events impacting LA County.

Our first round of Close Ups will feature the following department directors:

• Ruth Wong, Military and Veterans Affairs
• Lisa Garrett, Human Resources
• Arlene Barrera, Auditor-Controller
• Keith Knox, Treasurer and Tax Collector
• Marcia Mayeda, Animal Care and Control
• Erika Anzoategui, Alternate Public Defender
• Dr. Jonathan Lucas, Medical Examiner-Coroner

Each “Close Up” event will have a capacity of ten (10) members. Our event coordinator will send a link to the event 24-48 hours before the event to all individuals that RSVP. There will be no cost to attend; however, we ask all attendees to have their video turned on to eliminate the sense of distance through face to face interaction!

In the interest of ensuring members have an opportunity to participate, we request that interested members sign up for only one event at this point in time. Stay tuned for another round of Close Ups!
