By now, most professionals understand how critical emotional intelligence is for workplace success. Research suggests that it is linked to better work relationships, enhanced resilience, more effective communication, and greater overall life satisfaction. For those in leadership positions, being able to understand and regulate one’s own emotions while helping others to do the same, can make the difference between having a high performing team versus one that under-performs.

Participants will:

  • Get an overview of emotional intelligence, along with practical tips for developing it
  • Build self-awareness by reflecting on their personalities, stress behaviors, and triggers
  • Learn strategies to manage their emotions when under pressure
  • Learn how to improve their interpersonal effectiveness by developing empathy, improving their communication skills, and building a psychologically safe organizational culture
