The Los Angeles County Management Council’s seminar, “Building a Culture of Employee Engagement in Public Service” will focus on what employee engagement is and why it matters in the public sector. This educational seminar will provide insight into the latest research on employee engagement and best practices, such as innovative hiring, onboarding strategies, effective communication, among others. Industry experts and County leaders will share their knowledge and skills on this trending topic.

Objectives for the Day:

  • Why it matters to have an engaged County of Los Angeles workforce.
  • How to build a culture of employee engagement, which improves performance, retention, and morale.
  • Learn what the County and other public-sector organizations are doing to improve and sustain engagement.
