The LACMC is committed to investing in the next generation of leaders and providing meaningful and rewarding opportunities to share leadership skills and experiences. So, please join us for our first in-person workshop of 2023 focused on developing professional mentorship networking and developing professional coaching skills. This dynamic and interactive workshop will provide opportunities for participants to engage with their colleagues and build rapport while celebrating and recognizing one another. Come enjoy a morning filled with food, fun, and fellowship.

Katherine (Kit) Prendergast is the owner of Career Connections of Sierra Nevada, LLC (established 2000) in Reno, Nevada.   Kit is a PCC credentialed coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF), a Certified Executive & Leadership Development Coach (CELDC), a Certified Social & Emotional Intelligence Coach and previously a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in three states.

Kit is experienced in a variety of professional development assessments and is a certified Myers Briggs Inventory (MBTI) instructor as well as a licensed provider of the Four Lenses Temperament Discovery. Kit welcomes coaching and training clients nationally and internationally.

Adminstrative Services Manager DPH-HR Performance Management Unit

Dr. Daniel Rojas is currently assigned as the Administrative Services Manager II over the Performance Management section for the Department of Public Health, Human Resources Division. As a County employee, he has held a variety of assignments across County departments, including Public Social Services and Mental Health. He received his Master of Public Administration and Doctorate of Public Administration degrees from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA. He holds a Professional in Human Resources certificate (PHR) and is actively pursuing leadership and accounting certifications to enhance his abilities in future senior or executive-level positions. His passion for public service is only rivaled by his love for learning, family, and leadership. He is a proud husband, father, leader, friend, coach, mentor, and advisor.
